Editorial board

The Open Educational Resources Unit editorial board helps ensure the quality and integrity of the openly-licensed textbooks and course materials published by Oregon State University. The board’s main purpose is to review all affordable learning grant proposals, assess project feasibility, and make award recommendations. Additionally, the board acts as an advisory body for policy and procedural matters.

Become a board member

Are you an Oregon State faculty member or instructional designer concerned about the increasing cost of textbooks? You can make a meaningful contribution by joining the OERU editorial board. 

Responsibilities

  • Meet up to 3 times per year to review affordable learning grant proposals, determine project feasibility, and make funding recommendations.

  • Discuss and make recommendations on other OERU grant-related opportunities (such as new policies, grant funding levels and types, etc.)

  • Bring new ideas to improve affordable learning at Oregon State University.
